In our opinion, this is the most underrated Evolution model. Sandwiched between the widebody Vs and VIs and the classic I, II and IIIs, the IV offers the power of the CP9As and the nimbleness of the CE9A. The aggressive front end and fighter jet rear wing gives off a menacing vibe, and it's ridiculous how quick it gets on boost and pulls towards the redline. Even on stock shocks, it's amazing how quick its turn in is, and remains completely flat from corner entry to exit.
Modifications for the IV are exactly the same as the later models; Brembos and shocks bolt straight on, and it'll make decent power with just intake, exhaust, fuel pump and tune. This has some goodies already done, such as an Apexi exhaust, pod filter and a larger intercooler. A factory optioned boost gauge lets you know exactly how much suction its generating. The Recaro SR3s have solid bolsters and minimal wear that reflects its age.
