He basically took everything that made the AE86 brilliant, the balance, the lightness, the purity, and decided to give it grown up shoes, a proper six speed gearbox, and some dignity.
 
And what a magnificent job he did. The Altezza is a rear wheel drive symphony. The chassis dances, the steering whispers secrets from the tarmac, and the Yamaha tuned 3S GE engine howls like a caffeinated banshee when you bury your right foot. It’s mechanical poetry.
 
Around town it’s calm and composed, a car that makes you look like a responsible adult. But the moment you find a stretch of twisty road and decide to not be a responsible adult, it transforms.
