The forbidden Toyota hot hatch, with only 150 JDM versions built by Gazoo Racing tuned by “Meister of Nürburgring", the Vitz GRMN was a case study by Akio Toyoda to convince the Toyota board of directors that there is a future in building hot hatches once more.

Powered by a Lotus tuned supercharged 1.8L engine, it makes 209hp and claims a 6.3 second sprint to 100kph from rest. That aggressive front bar inspired the GR Yaris, and a slick six speed manual, 1100kg kerb weight and superb 4 piston front brakes makes short work of curvy tarmac.
